40 planes per year!

Well i too was working on Aerospace and Defence project. It is related to software testing of Teamcenter Engineering (PDM software ) at Simens PLM in Hinjwadi Pune as contract employee from TCS. But it is 100 times away from seeing or feeling about aerospace. We r not sure whether what we r doing ( it is not that creative product but variant of already existing Software) will be used and how? Same was the case with Applied Materials - as actual manufacturing was in US - and we were working in Production support at Bangalore. But i enjoyed that as it was full practical job and environment around was charged with Nano Teachnology and Semiconductor posters.

I did ask for project change as i was working on same tesing for long time and it affected me with regards to my appraisal rating :)

Bryan Adams rocks

We are in heaven.... is a superb song and Vishal Grover introduced me to this. I could not understand a single word when i first heard it and now i cant even miss a single letter when i overhear it. Well we were free to listen to songs in TCS - ODC with full internet access during those days.

Today i listened to the same song but sung by lady ( some fan of Bryan) while in office Gym and it was terribly bad. Situation is changed - freshers are in gym for 4 hours in the noon ( 12 to 4) because they dont hv projects. I dont know what the freshers at other locations doing?

Such a lovely place

Shivasamudram is waterfall and origin of Kaveri river about 2 hours from Bangalore. Vikram and I went for Sunday trip with me forgetting money to be drawn and Vikya managing budget. Parag was vicariously with us as he couldn't come but gave his camera. After much trekking and swimming you taste the watermelon on sale ( I understood what serendipity is) and feel heaven.

Book is great for it gives unobstructed peek into Gandhiji's life. Public interaction of leader in the making is interesting. Mahadev Desai has translated it lucidly.

Rhythm in lyrics

This pertains to thoes hindi movie songs which are rhymed with below words repeatedly over the years and are accentuated to add to decibels.

what a din! Din because these words keep reverberating in mind like some names we remember by virtue of their rhythm even though we never had seen these persons before hearing their names many times ( Giancarlo fisichela, Buddhadev Bhattacharya, Osho, Robin Hood).

Be

Its not 'be' from question of to be or not to be, but it is 'be' native to male specific language of Solapur Marathi and Hindi of youth across India. 'be' also means 2 as in marathi tables. It is gr8 coincidence that in Solapur where 'be' is ubiquitous, phone numbers in the city changed to start from 2. To exaggerate, it had such an impact on people's mind that they started quoting phone number 2600811 as '6008111 aadhi don laav' meaning put 2 ahead.
Moreover Japanese prime minister's name is Shinzo Abe.

Why all menus r not like this?
